Life of Mine: Exhibition - Accountancy: Career & Education Fair @ Sunway Pyramid

Its been a while since I've updated my blog. I had a very busy week indeed. After finishing my day job, I had to work at home for my freelances. There's 1 that is always urgent, 1 in hands, another 1 is still in the waiting list.

I wish I had enough of time doing all these, but sadly, time is always not enough. I've been feeling tired and lazy today. Haven't even touch any of my freelance for today, I just want to give myself a little bit of rest. Just hope that my mum will be considerate and stop bugging me on her signage and flyer designs, well, hers is the 1 in the waiting list. LOL...

Well, my story starts now, starting on the previous week. I had my days working off from day to night. Yes, from day to night, late at night. I was starting to feel kind of tired of it. But to earn more for a more comfortable life, I would need to sacrifice something. Nothing is really that easy.

Last week on Wednesday, I got a mail from my lady boss, warning about using MSN in the office. But how many of us really listen to it? I mean its now the more advanced world. For me, MSN is important even though I don't really chat much unless I am really really free or bored.

It is important. They should have even used it in office, for sending and receiving files and artwork. Not like now, still using emails, where you have to upload the things and wait for it. If the files are big, how long do we need to wait? Isn't MSN a more convenient tool in offices? So long the staff knows the limit of using the MSN in the office, I don't even think it is to be forbidden.

That was just an opinion of mine. I wonder if I really stand up to it and speak up my opinion, would they even listen? I know the staffs would be supporting me, because most of them use MSN. There are now even more communication ways such as Skype and etc...

The next day, I had a really really tiring day. Haha... Not because of my day job, but my freelance. Staying up at night too much nowadays, would really make me so tired since I have fully started working. In my college life, I could stay up longer, even without sleeping. I'm wondering, am I getting old? No no no... I don't want to think about that... =p

Well, I slept at 9pm and straight up till the morning, just to replace some sleepless nights. And of course, I felt so refreshing the next early morning. Wakaka~~ Until the evening, Lilian started asking around for who to go with her to the exhibition on the Saturday and Sunday. I was so half-hearted, thinking whether to help her out or not.

Knowing that my uncle and aunt would be coming to visit, I called her up asking her confirmation of her arrival. Lilian seems to be in luck, my uncle had to change his plan so I agreed to Lilian's request. She was pleading me and I couldn't just ignore.

So there I am working my ass off on my weekends, but the end results, it was fun. So so fun. It was my first time on an exhibition. Although it was a small event, but we had a really really busy weekend. Well, it was an Accountancy: Career & Education Fair at Sunway Pyramid.

On Saturday, Lilian and I was like, what the hell, where is the convention center? We know we were on the right floor, but where is the entrance? We had to change 3 parking slots to find that place. It was kind of funny.

We were a little bit late. The first day was like so crowded. The moment we enter to that place, we could see everybody lining up to get inside. Both Lilian and I hurried to get our things set up, those things we are carrying were so heavy I tell you.

We started setting up after a kind guy showed us our spot. Our spot was at the front most, near the stage with 2 loud speakers a little further from us. We didn't even finish setting our stuff, those people lining up outside the hall was already in, and there we started our business.

Lilian starting selling the goods and I had to attract people to fill up our survey form. Every survey form filled, each person would get either a Mobile Cleaner or a Lanyard. The students were like so happy when they heard they would get a free gift, and they only agreed to fill in the form after they heard there's something free for them. Materialistic? Hmm...

Charlene and Mr.Law came a little later after we were busy servicing the students. It was a relieve to see her come. Mr.Law had to drive back down to the office because the free gifts were out of stock and even the survey form was not enough. We had to ask the students to write behind of the paper. Haha...

Mr.Law came back from office only a little while before lunch hour. So Lilian and I went lunch together. While walking around trying to find food, Lilian had a call, it was from Mr.Law, saying that the both of them would join us for lunch because Bernard and Belinda had came over.

So the 4 of us had lunch together, we had Mr.Teppanyaki. It was kind of awkward to lunch together with the boss, but I see that he was not bad a person, at least, he was better than the previous. He paid for our food and we walk back to the convention center preparing for battle. LOL...

Some of the students who came over and filled the form were so naughty, they wanted both free gift. It reminds me of my schooling day, I would also do the same like what they did. You know, Having some fun with it, disturbing the girl or boy behind the counter. Wakaka... I told the students: "Can, if you buy our products." And they goes: "Awww~~~"

It was an experience I had. I've never been out doing stuff like this, at least it makes me more braver to face someone unfamiliar and to talk to someone unfamiliar. I used to have this bravery when I was younger, it just fade away when I went into college because I've seen the outside world which is not like what I have imagined. I felt great and coming back to my bravery. LOL...

On the Sunday, it wasn't that busy. There were only Lilian, Mr.Law and I, working on it to promote our products. It wasn't that bad actually. My sisters came over for some supports and 1 of my sister bought a pendrive while my boss was around. And she get to buy at a staff price. Lucky her that I was a staff with the company. When Mr.Law saw the 3 of them, he asked me: "Your sisters?" I said: "Yes!" And he goes: "All same faces." LOL...

Before the day ends, there was a talk just in front of us. 4 speakers with 1 really amazing. The first 3, was really a bored. Lilian and I was yawing away. The last speaker, was a lady named Wendy. I couldn't remember her company name. And her talk was suppose to talk about our appearances and dressings.

Her talk was awesome and funny. It is very interesting. Everyone was paying attention to her talk. We were suppose to go back earlier since that there wasn't any business anymore, but the 3 of us were attracted to the talk. We sat there till the talk was done. What a weekend for me. Haha...

So this week, I am rushing for my freelance again. I got a freelance on Saturday night, where I wasn't able to do it. It was delayed till Monday night and was urgent again. I was so tired after the working few days straight, plus Saturday night, a movie night. Hmm.. I wish I have more time.

On Monday, I was suppose to go home finishing the urgent job but I stop by my dear's house. I can't drive in sleepiness. I went to his house and sleep for the few hours while he goes out to meet his clients, it was such a good night sleep. I went back at midnight and started doing my urgent job. Thank good it was done. But only at 3am in the morning. I went to bed straight away. I look very busy huh? But its all my fault for a lousy planning. Haha...
